Man, this 10 day trip back home went QUICK! Seems like I just got back home like 10 days ago. Oh, wait a sec, I did just get back 10 days ago. Ha ha…
Some of my friends ask “Man Todd, how long can you continue to travel that much?” Well, I tell them my job situation sure beats a normal & boring 9-5 job. Yeah, it kind of sucks to be away from home for weeks at a time. But it also RULES to be home for weeks at a time as well. You see, when I am at home, I don’t have any “job” to go to. I do all of my work from my computer & phone. So when I am home (sometimes for a month at a time), then I really am HOME. I work from my desk in my bedroom, the couch in the living room, the backyard bar/BBQ, the front yard lounge chairs, you name it. Shoot, I think in the summer time I go days without even putting on shoes or a shirt sometimes. Ha ha. -So I’d say that the chilled out days at home surely outweigh all of the travel. And ya can’t forget about the frequent flyer miles that I rack up. Seeing as I’m flying on Delta on this trip (where I earn double miles), I’ll get 30,000 miles for this trip. Those will be added to the 1.2 million frequent flyer miles I’ve already got. Can you say V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N? Man, I’m overdue for one!
Speaking of travel, I’m about 3 hours away from heading to LAX to catch my flight at midnight. It’s about 14 hours to Seoul, then a 3 hour layover, Then a 3.5 hour flight to Hong Kong. Then I get to Hong Kong & wait for a couple hours for the ferry boat to Mainland China. The ferry takes an hour & then there’ll be a driver waiting for me on the other side to continue on with a 1.5hour drive STRAIGHT to our factory in Dongguan, China. Yeah, easy as that. ABout 25 hours all in total. And straight to work! I better have a hot chick sit next to me on one of my flights or something. I’m sure the time will go by MUCH quicker that way…
Photo of the day is me holding a very special piece of art….
