Man, I get some FUNNY e-mails sent in to me through the SE website. Check out the e-mail below. It’s from a guy who is still pissed that SE didn’t warranty the frame he broke in 1984. He’s bummed because he had to go & buy a Hutch Pro Star that rode like a noodel (sp).
-I should tell him that we’ll warranty it if he still has the receipt. Ha ha…

I am Matt I owned and broke many YELLOW PK Ripper frames around the seat post back in the 1980′s at Itasca Race track as a BMX racer. SE racing has never sent me the replacement Ripper 20 inch frame in 1984 as a warrenty was for life. I think the co went belly up at that time I sent a broken frame at the seat post clamp, 1990 OR SO, at this time the seat clamp was not a intergual part so the frame broke at just under the seat clamp. I bought the bike a built stock SE for 400 at that time. So i not only got ripped off by SE Racing but was forced to use a CRMO frame with the flex of a noodel.
When I did not recive a frame as replacement I went with the Hutch Pro Star. Is there any way I can get my frame as I have been seeing PK Rippers on The MTV show FANTASY FACTORY so I after many years know your back.

Dude can’t even spell noodle… That’s a great post. I suppose you get alot of weird stuff. I had a PK also in about 1984. I remember I didnt’ use the proper washers on the back wheel, and with the aluminum frame, the bolts just eat through it. Basically ruined the frame for sure.
I got my OM flyer ready to hit the streets here. Minnesota is still a tad cold, but the OM will get a true riding this year..

yeah, seriously, I know you guys are back in business, that happened to me too, except I went through 10 of them, but I will accept a brand new 24″ Quadangle frame in return………hahahahahh that is what I consider real life comedy………………..and on the reality front, I’m going to go get my two PK’s out of storage next month so I’m stoked, in the mean time I got my OM with me and as soon as you send me that Quadangle I will have the full package!
