Quick update from Cambodia

-I finally stayed up past 9pm a couple nights ago in Phnom Penh. Actually, I was out ’till the sun came up. Whoo-hoo, what a fun night!

-I went to the Killing Fields & the S-21 torture chamber where Pol Pot had a bunch of people executed. Country wide, it was around a million people! Like 1/4 of the population. So crazy. So lame.

-I took a bus for 4hrs today from Phnom Penh to Sihanouke Ville beach. It’s super slow paced here, but just what I needed after a few hectic days in the city. I haven’t done much here as it was raining when I got here today. It is rainy season here, but I am crossing my fingers that it’s sunny at some point over the next few days.

-It is RIDICULOUSLY cheap here @ the beach. Even cheaper than the other places I’ve been to. I’m in another $15/night hotel. I saw some places that were $2. But this hotel has a nice pool, AC, & wireless internet. And yes, for only $15/night. I guess some of the bars have beers for like $.25. Not bad!

-I am in FULL chill mode for the next couple days or so. Don’t come looking for me….

1st pic below is of a local dentist office. Better not get a toothache over here!

2nd pic is the view of a cool temple from the back of a tuk-tuk

3rd pic is part of a sea of skulls @ the killing fileds.
