Journal

Wow,  I have only been in Cambodia for 36hrs, but it’s been nonstop action!

-After sleeping Fri night in the Bangkok airport, I flew to Siem Reap on Sat morn. Got in, got a hotel/guest house ($15), walked around & peeped the little town, got a 2hr massage ($10) & then rented a bike & rode to the Angkor Wat to peep the sunset. The temples were dope, but the sunset didn’t really exist ’cause clouds rolled in. I spent the evening eating & drinking on “Pub St.” & then called it an early night & was back @ hotel by 10pm.

-My alarm clock went off @ 4:45am this morn & I hurried up & got ready & went outside & waited for my driver to pick me up & take me to the Angkor Wat for the sunrtise. I stood out there for about 15 minutes & then remembered that the time on my phone is an hour off. Stupes! So I went back up & slept for a bit more. Then he picked me up & we went to like a zillion termples. Ever seen the movie the Tomb Raider? That’s where they filmed some of it. Was cool as heck. Saw monkeys running around, crazy cool statues & history & just a really amazing day.

-Got back at 1pm after a full day (remember, I left at 5am) & took a much needed nap. It’s now 10pm & I’m out on “Pub St.” again (imahine that!) & I’m gonna peep some of the Siem Reap nightlife tonight before hopping on a bus for 6hrs to Phnom Penh tomorrow morn @ 7am.

The adventure don’t stop! I am having troubles posting pics. But they’ll be up soon! In the meantime, you can check:
