Wow, after nearly a month-long trip in Asia, I’m finally on my way home. I’m in the Hong Kong airport as we speak. I’ll finally be chillin’ back home in Huntington Beach in a mere 18hrs. This trip has been a mix of work & pleasure, but it’s been amazing nonetheless. I really do like the Asian culture. I was in Cambodia, Thailand, & China on this trip & they are three very distintly different countries. But all with their own perks.
I was @ the SE factory in China this past week handling a lot of final spec & production stuff as well as over seeing the photoshoot of the 2010 bikes. It’s WAY too early to let out any sneek peek’s. But it’s safe to say that SE is gonna have another good year next year. It’s a crazy process, this bike stuff I tell ya. Not really crazy, but really involved & indepth. I mean some of these bikes, we started designing (on paper) back in November. And I just saw some of the actual bikes for the first time this week. It’s pretty gratifying seeing the actual bikes after all that time! But of course, I notice a few things that need to change. Ha ha. But that’s the fun of being the “Product Manager.” If I don’t like it, I just change it up! Easy as that. Uh, it’s not really that easy, but you get the point.
Ok, I lied. I am gonna let out a few sneak peeks of the 2010 SE line. You ready?
This is stage #12 in the sample room department. It’s where the new decals get put on the new frames. I get all excited when I walk into this part of the room.

The only thing missing here for the DCxPK Fixed Gear wheels are the Velocity Deep V rims.
Oooh, which frame is which!? Are thos production colors? Samples? Defects? Production colors? Did colors change? Ha ha… Ah, you the curtains will be inveiled before Interbike!
Cool, new SE bikes on the production lne already! Man, peep that cool blue color. So dope!
