So I bought some running shoes the other day. I tell ya, after getting free Vans, Visions, Airwalks, JNCO’s, DC’s, Nike’s, etc over the past 2 decades, it feels a little weird walking into a shoe store & buying shoes. I’ve never really been a sneaker head. So i never paid much attention to what I was wearing on my feet. As long as they were free, then they were cool with me. And I just started running like a year ago. So running shoes were never in the mix either. And for the first 6 months I was running, I was running in DC’s. Ha ha.

It felt pretty funny when the sales dude told me to go outside & run down the sidewalk so he could watch me run. But I guess that’s what ya gotta do to make sure you get the right shoe for your foot. Well, $100 later, I walked out with a pair of funny looking white/silver/yellow New Balances. And I just took them for their virgin run on the streets of Taichung, Taiwan. And I gotta say, they sure are more comfy than running in DC’s or Vans! Ha ha…
