The Wolfpack hustle ride (http://www.wolfpackhustle.com/index.php) was ON last night! I went up there with Robbie Miranda, Javier Colombo, & Alan Foster. Man, we rode for like 55 miles through the streets of LA from 10:30pm to 2am. Well, Alan & Javier rode ’till 2:30am ’till they caught up to us at the final meeting point. Ha ha. Them dudes didn’t know what hit ‘em! We were the 4 BMXers who rolled up from Orange County & of course Rich Bartlett was the 5th BMX dude. He’s there every week & he HANDLES the ride. He’s always in the front group. Actually, usually leading the group.

The whole group last night was about 35 riders. Some in spandex & clipless shoes, others (like me) in jeans & sneakers. Some had crazy single speed & fixed gear bikes. One guy had a spring seat & some crazy mustache bars that were all down low my his headtube. When we saw this guy @ the beginning of the ride, we were like “There’s no way that that guy is going to finish the ride.” Well, he not only finished, but he finished like 20 minutes ahead of Javier & Alan. So funny! The dude had a crazy bike, but he was fast & super cool.
Big tires, a coaster brake, crazy bars, and a spring seat. And STILL faster than Javier & Alan. LOL!
