Man, I had a rough day on the bike today. It started out all fine & dandy when the UPS guy dropped off the new PK Ripper Looptail & the new DC/PK Fixed Gear bike at my house. After quickly building up the PK Loop, I rode down to Sheep Hills to check it out after the recent rains we’ve had here in So Cal. Well, I forgot how slippery Tioga Comp III tires were & I washed out on the street less than a mile into the ride. It didn’t hurt too much when I hit the ground. I just got some small scrapes on my knee & elbow. It was more funny than anything.

So I continued to Sheep Hills & it was still plenty wet as I expected. But I figured I’d hit the little “Kiddie” section & get some time in on my new PK Loop. Well I didn’t make it past the first jump. Well, actually I did. I made it past the first jump on my head! LOL -The jumps were really soft & my front wheel drilled right into the front side of the backside & flipped me over the bars. I hit the ground pretty hard & then my bike followed & slapped me in the back of my head. Ouch!

Tomorrow will be a better day….
