I typically only come to Vegas once a year: for the Interbike tradeshow each September. I used to come here once or twice a year for BMX races. But once I moved into the position of Brand Manager at SE Bikes 6 years ago, I’ve only came here once a year each time in the fall. Well, it’s March & I’m back again. This time I’m here for thehttp://extremething.com/ jump contest. I drove out one of our pro BMXers here, Fernando Sabat. It was cool to see Nasty, Darden, Luke Parslow, Nyquist, TJ Ellis, and a bunch of other dirt jump heads today. Man, I haven’t seen a lot of these peeps in a year or more. I’m stoked to hang with my old buddies this weekend. And I’ll go visit some SE dealers while I’m out here as well. You know, gotta mix some business with pleasure. Ha ha. But for reals. On all of my travels this year to BMX races, jump contests, or freestyle events, I’m also gonna make some side trips to hit up some of our shops in the area that sell our bikes. Yeah, it’s “work.” But still pretty fun.
